I have an old house that has plaster and lath. Had the wall doctor do some repairs on the plaster and it came out great. He stuck to his original bid even though he ended up doing more than he initially thought he would have to do.

Good things from our experience with Rich and his Wall Doctor crew: 1) They gave us a truly competitive bid, not a lobbed high bid, for our entirely new Missoula University District basement 2BR, LR, and Kitchen unit; 2) The multiple plane walls and ceilings were difficult, furred out to miss gas and water pipes and HVAC ducts, and a true headache, but our requested #4 smooth wall finish came out entirely well done; 3) They completed our drywall and painting on schedule as contracted. Kudos and thanks for a difficult job well done.

I have hired many contractors throughout the course of this project. Rich the Wall Doctor is the one I would most strongly recommend. He truly went above and beyond what I could have expected. I received a great price on a drywall installation/finish job that I couldn’t be happier with the quality of. Rich is an extremely hardworking craftsman with attention to detail and a stand-up man. After the drywall was finished he donated hours of his time and left over materials from other jobs to help me with the painting that wasn’t even part of our contract. I cannot say enough about the quality, value, and speed with which he finished my job. Two thumbs way up.

We had Rich work with us to redo our popcorn ceilings in a newly purchased home. Rich was extremely responsive and professional. He is a great communicator -- always got back to me right away if I had questions or concerns. He demonstrated superior knowledge and experience in his trade. He was also very flexible with our schedule as we were navigating a move and closing on a new home while working with him. He gave lots of different options for texture/finish during his initial bid.
